PROTEGE

If you follow my tumblr, you may know I’ve had a western short story in the works since 2011. A HAPLESS SOUL is out now in DWP #8, the latest issue of Digital Webbing’s anthology series.

Set in 1875, the story opens with former army scout Elijah Sixkiller awaiting execution in a backwater jail. It’s a tale of “western weirdness” written by me with art by Marcello Abreu, colors by Rafael Gonzaga and letters by Kel. Cover is by Gav Heryng.
