Worried today’s page would be a full-page explosion? No fear — I’m not a big fan of splash pages, unless it’s really crucial. As a kid I always kinda felt ripped off if there were too many splash pages in a comic book even if the art was spectacular (I remember forcing myself to linger on those pages so I wouldn’t finish the book too quickly).
